A Whisper in the Wind

Can you hear me? I’m calling out to you, from some forgotten place, A whisper in the wind, a shadow I can’t chase. A feeling in my heart, a melody so slight, Like a distant star that burns with a pale and lonely light.

And I search for you in crowds, in faces I don’t know, I’m walking down these empty streets, to where I do not go. Is that your echo in the rain? Your hand I almost feel? This yearning in my weary soul, I know it must be real.

I need you to find me, across the sun and stone, I’m here with all my broken parts, afraid and so alone. Come find me, I’m still waiting, through every passing day, I need you to find me… and show me the way.
